If flying into Europe, the following are the best airports to check out, beginning with the closest.
Basel/Mulhouse Europort (on border of Switzerland and France) 20 minute's drive (If arrangements are made for us to pick you up, please exit on the French side)
Zurich, Switzerland- Take the train (located in airport) to SBB (Basel, Switzerland) 1 hour train ride.
Frankfurt, Germany-Train to Freiberg and switch trains to Schliengen. 10 minute's drive
Places to Stay The Art Factory has two guest rooms which can accommodate up to four people in each room. "The Fireside Room" has a private toilet and sink and woodstove. "The Bike Room" is light and near a full bathroom. Both rooms are spacious with sitting area. A community kitchen/dining area is available for guests. There is a shared shower room. Also, an outdoor patio area, nearby hiking trails, community pool in summer is within walking distance. Cost-10 euros/per night 5 night max stay (unless otherwise arranged).
